I tried solving this before, but now my system needs to become more complex and therefore I cannot fudge the results UE4-Side.

There -HAS- to be a way to pull the individual sprite's world position within UE4 from popcorn. I have tried getting the fields via a listener, and every time the vector returns 0, 0, 0. I have tried doing a scene.intersect and returning the value of a variable set to the hit.xyz result. That also returns 0, 0, 0.

I feel like I am missing a simple tickbox somewhere or some line of code that I just admittedly do not know.

I just want to know where an individual particle is in UE4's world space at any given time. (preferably upon collision and/or spawn).

Thank you!

Hi,

Did you try adding the necessary field names that you will want to extract to the PopcornFXSceneActor ?

https://wiki.popcornfx.com/index.php/UE4/EventListeners#Setup

Note: GetParticleField can only be called within the triggered event's "scope"

Cheers
