I am trying to integrate PopcornFX into our engine and getting these errors trying to load one of the demo effect files:

effects.impl.cpp(89): warning: effects: "/data/effects/ParticleDemo_PerfsLoadTest.simple.pkfx": skipping unknown HBO handler: "CEntityWithTransformsFactory"
effects.impl.cpp(94): warning: effects: Error parsing the HBO file : might have been corrupt
effects.impl.cpp(89): warning: effects: "/data/effects/ParticleDemo_PerfsLoadTest.simple.pkfx": skipping unknown HBO handler: "CNEdEditorParticle_Data"
effects.impl.cpp(94): warning: effects: Error parsing the HBO file : might have been corrupt
effects.impl.cpp(89): warning: effects: "/data/effects/ParticleDemo_PerfsLoadTest.simple.pkfx": skipping unknown HBO handler: "CNEdEditorBackdrop_List"
effects.impl.cpp(94): warning: effects: Error parsing the HBO file : might have been corrupt

I get the feeling that maybe these types are supposed to be removed during the baking process? but they are still there in the baked file. Maybe I am just failing to register something? I am registering the compiler backend successfully.

Hi,

Yes it's a bug we fixed in the latest v1.12.2
It's a bug in the asset-baker library that basically caused all bakes coming from anything else than the popcorn editor to not remove the editor-specific nodes.

1.12.2 is to be released next week, if you need this fix before just drop us a mail at support.
